Rushen 1764
The last will and testament of Jony Cubbon als Corkish who departed this
life about the last day of August 1764.
First she commended her soul to Almighty God and her body to Christian
burial.
Item: She bequeathed her half of a certain purchased field commonly called
Glan Y Christeen to her son Henry Cubbon he paying unto her executrix
thereafter mentioned the sum of forty shillings. She further bequeathed to
her said son Henry the geers or instrument belonging to the farm and her
half of the sheep between him the said Henry and her daughter Jony.
Item she bequeathed to her daughter Mary Woods als Cubbon a gown and
petticoat.
Item She bequeathed to her daughter Eleanor Kneen als Cubbon a gown and
petticoat.
Item She bequeathed to Eleanor Lewin als Skelly a gown and smock.
Item she bequeathed a petticoat an smock to Mary Gell als Nelson.
Item She bequeathed a linen apron to Margaret daughter of John Taylor.
Item she bequeathed two caps to Esther daughter of John Christian.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her daughter Jony Cubbon sole executrix
of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown October 28 1764
The executrix is sworn in court in form of law and has given pledges for
payment of debts and legacies namely John Cubbon her father and John
Christian one of the witnesses. Probatum est Ro:Radcliffe.
