22        KK Maughold
In the name of God Amen. I Margery Cashin of the parish 
of KK Maughold, being in bodily health and of sound and 
disposing mind and memory, but considering the uncertainty 
of this transitory life, do for avoiding controversies 
after my decease make publish and declare this my last 
will and testament in manner following.  
First, I commit my soul to God that gave it, and my body 
to a Christian burial.  
..... as for and concerning all such worldly goods and 
effects as God has been pleased to bless me with I dispose 
thereof in manner following.  
That is to say, I bequeath to ELIZABETH QUINE DAUGHTER 
TO WM QUINE tow shillions legacy.  
It., I bequeath to MARY QUINE & JONEY CORKILL tow shillions 
each legacy.  
It, I bequeath to THOMAS & ELIZABETH CHRISTIAN SON & 
DAUGHTER TO JOHN CHRISTIAN dec'd tow shillions each legacy.  
Item, I bequeath to all climers six pence each legacy.  
Likewise I bequeath one shillion Brittis each to the 
witness of the said will as there lawfull weages.  
Lastly, I do herby nominate and appoint ANN CALLOW WIDOW 
in Ballaglass, whole and sole Executrix of all the rest 
of my goods & effects of what kind or nature soever 
hereby revoking all former and other wills testaments 
and deeds of gift by me at any time here-go-fore maid 
and I do ordain and ratify these prescripts to stand 
and be as my only last will and testament. In witness 
whereof to this my sd will I have here unto in the 
presence of these witnesses present caused my name to 
be written & there fixed my mark this the 26th Febary 1762.

AT A COURT OF CORRECTION holden at Lezayre Feb 21, 1764: 
ANN CHRISTIAN OTHERWISE CALLOW is sworn Execrx in Court in 
form of Law & has given pledges for payment of debrs & 
legacies namely John Cowley of Lezayre & Wm Christian 
of KK Bride.  Probatum est, solv: 12.
