This is the last will and testament of Bridget Mylevorrey 
alias Crellin of the Driney, in the parish of KK German, 
who departed this life the 10th of November 1764, being 
of perfect mind and memory at the making thereof as follows: 
First she committed her soul to God 
and her body to Christian burial. 
Item, she bequeathed to her granddaughter Jane Crellin 
her shaped apparel of linen and woolen except her cloak 
which she left to Thomas Myleworrey’s wife. 
Item, she bequeathed a cow to her said granddaughter 
Jane Crellin. 
Item, she bequeathed as a gift or legacy to Peter 
Myleworrey’s children the fourth part of a cow in calf. 
Item, she left to her son and heir Thomas Myleworrey 
a colt upon the price he already offered for the said 
colt and to pay the price to her executors. 
Item, she bequeathed to her said son and heir Thomas 
Myleworrey her moiety of the crop and team and the 
said Thomas Myleworrey is to pay her executors five pounds. 
Item, she bequeathed to her said son Thomas Myleworrey 
her moiety of Greebey Meadow and the said Thomas Myleworrey 
is to pay her executors six pounds. 
Item, she bequeathed the price of a main and three 
quarters of beef lately sold by her said son Thomas 
Myleworrey to her executors. 
Lastly, she nominated and appointed her son 
Peter Myleworrey & her daughter Anne Crellin alias 
Myleworrey equally betwixt them joint executors of 
all the rest of her goods and effects movable and 
immovable of what nature or denomination soever. 
Also, she debars any person or persons claiming 
any further right to her goods or effects with 
six pence legacy. This 1st November 1764.

At a Consistory Court holden at 
Balnyhow March 11, 1765, 
Peter Mcylworrey & William Crellin husband of 
Ann Crellin sworn executors in Court in form 
of law as also to be just the one to the other 
in the division of the goods and have given 
pledges for payment of debts and legacies 
namely James Crellin and John Crellin both 
of KK German. 

We Peter Mcylworrey & 
William Crellin husband of Ann Crellin 
als Mcylworrey the executors of Bridget 
Mcylworrey the before mentioned testatrix 
do hereby acknowledge to have received 
the several sums of money and … satisfied 
the values of the other things which 
Thomas Mcylworrey her eldest son and heir 
was by her last will and testament to 
pay unto us her executors. And I the 
said Thomas Mcylworrey do also hereby 
acknowledge to have received the sound 
legacies left and bequeathed unto me 
by my said mother. And we the said 
Peter Mcylworrey and William Crellin 
the executors do hereby acquit and 
release the said Thomas Mcylworrey 
his executors administrators and 
assigns thereof forever and I the 
said Thomas Mcylworrey do hereby 
acquit and release the said Peter 
Mcylworrey and William Crellin their 
executors administrators and assigns 
thereof forever as witness our marks 
to our names the 31st May 1768.
