This is affirmed to be the Last Will and Testam’t of Ann Christian
otherwise Cowin of the Parish of KK Lonnan who departed this
                                      she
Life on or about the 9th February 1765 ^ being then in perfect mind 
and memory at the making thereof.  First she committing her 
Soul to God and her body to Christian burial, and as to her 
worldly Effects she bequeathed them in manner following --  
Itm, she left and bequeathed twenty shillings apiece to all her 
Children namely Thos, W’m, Patrick, Elizabeth, Mary, Bridget, 
& Ann.  Item,she left a gown to her Daughter Mary. Itm, she 
Left all her shaped Cloathes both Linnen & woolen to her 
Daughter Elizabeth.  She Lastly revoking all other wills 
made words or Intentions uttered, Declared this to be her Last 
Will and Testam’t and nominated & appointed therein her 
Loving Husband Tho’s Christian, whole & sole Executor of all 
the Rest of her Goods and Chattels both moveable and 
immoveable of what Kind or Denomination soever.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Marown June 17, 1765

The Execr is sworn in Court in form of Law. Mary & Eliz’th two 
of the Children being of lawful age are Sworn Supervisors of 
their brothers & sisters underage, & consent that the tuition 
of the Dead's part of the Children & their Goods be comitted 
to their Father, which he undertakes.  Pledges in behalf 
of the Execr in form of Law are Edmd Christian of KK Onchan 
& John Brew of KK Lonon.
