In the name of God, Amen. I GRACE BLACKBURN of 
Castletown being wake in body but of sound 
disposing mind and memery (for avoiding 
contraversces after my decease) do make publish 
and declare this my last will and testament in 
mannor following that is to say:  
First, I commit my soul to God that give it 
and my body to Christian buriel.  
2ndly, I leave and bequeath unto my SON WM 
BLACKBURN my house and gardens with the 
appurtenances thereunto belonging, saveing that 
he is not to sell nor mortgage it, and he my 
sd SON WM is to pay unto my DAUGHTER MARGERY 
three pounds and to my DAUGHTER JANE four pounds.  
3dly, I leave also to my sd DAUGHTER MARGERY 
BLACKBURN the large iron pot a large feather 
boulster and a new flaxen sheet.  
4thly, I leave also to my sd DAUGHTER JANE 
CLAGUE ALS BLACKBURN a bed and boulster a sheet, 
the gridle, with what tranchers and dishes 
belongs to my self, with the little wheel, 
also whatever wering apperall whither linnin 
or woolen with the large chest in the room 
to my sd DAUGHTER JANE, and I also leave the 
big wheel between my sd DAUGHTERS.  
Lastley, I nominate and appoint my sd SON WM 
sole exectr of all the rest of my goods moveable 
and immovable of what kind soever he my sd SON 
WM paying the aforesd legesey's and revoaking 
all other wills heretofore by me made, as witness 
my mark to my name this 14th Octr 1764.

Castletown Jane 19. 1765: 
The Execr is sworn in Court in form of Law & has given 
pledges for payment of debts & legacies namely Wm Caine[?] 
& Hen: Cowin[?] both of Castletown.
