Isabel Gawn als Taylor departed this life on or about the 27th day of Jan
7 last intestate. The court upon intelligence thereof decrees her three
children namely Willm, Thos, and Jane Gawn joint administrators of all
her goods and chattels moveable and immoveable whatsoever. Thomas
and Jane being under age William aforsd with Henry Gawn their father
are sworn to bring a perfect inventory to the Registry as also for
payment of debts according to law. By consent of Willm aforesd the dead's
part of the children under age and their goods is committed to the tuition
of their father who with said Wm are sworn supervisors and have given
pledges in form of law namely the Rev Nicholas Christian and John Nelson
both of Rushen.

July 27 1771 We William and Thomas Gawn two of the children of Isabel Gawn
do hereby acknowledge to have received from our father Henry Gawn the sum of
twenty pounds eighteen shillings and five pence each in full
of the share of goods to us due by the death of our said Mother and do
hereby severally and respectively acquit and discharge our said father
his executors and administrators of the same.
