This is affirmed to be the Last Will and Testament of Mary Key widow of Balla
Chroink in the parish of Kirk Patrick who departed this life about the 20th February
1766. Being in perfect mind and memory at the making thereof.
First she committed her soul to Almighty God and her body to Christian burial.
Item: She left unto her Grand Daughter Margaret Moore a blanket that was on the bed.
Item: She left unto her daughter Elinoar Moore a gown and one of her best caps or
coifs and a shift of smock and all her part of the bleacht flaxn yarn and one hank of
the yarn that was unbleached and a pot and an old fir box that kept the bread.
Lastly: She nominated and appointed her daughter Margaret Key whole and sole
executrix of all the rest of her goods of what kind soever moveable and unmoveable
excluding all other craving friends with sixpence a piece legacy.

At a chapter court holden at Balayhowin 6th June 1766. The executrix is sworn in
court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies
namely Thos Quane and Henry Gell both of Kirk Patrick.
