John Creer, 1766

April 30th 1766

The last will and testament of John Crear of the
Parish of the parish of KK St Ann he being at perfect
mind & memory at the making hereof.
First he committed his soul to God and his body to a Christian
Burial
Item He left to his son Robt Crear & his daughter Catherine Crear all
His worldly goods of what kind soever – And they
See him decently buried.
Item He left to his three grandchildren William, Thos & Marg
Crear 1 shilling each – and sixpence legacy to any
person that would claim any right to his goods.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown Jun 4th 1766
The exors are sworn in court in form of law and have
given pledges, viz Edward Shimmin & Jane Clucas
