EPISCOPAL WILL Douglas Braddan 1767 FHL Film #106389:
I John Killey of the town of Douglas being in a bad state of health but
thanks be to God in perfect mind and memory Do make this my last will and
Testament in manner following:
FIRST - I bequeath to my brother Henry Killey's three children John,
Christian, and Margaret Killey the sum of twelve pounds to be equally
divided between them.
I bequeath to John Kelly my landlord one pound four shillings and six pence
and to Judith Kelly his wife twelve shillings and three pence and to her
daughter Catrine Lewny twelve shillings and three pence legacy.
I bequeath to Mary Wilson ten shillings and to William Curphey ten shillings
legacy. I leave to William Croy and John Cannon two shillings and eleven
pence each.
LASTLY - I appoint Henry Killey my nephew sole executor of all the rest of
my goods of what kind soever and to any person claiming I leave six pence
legacy. This I appoint my last will and testament this 18th day of Apr

At a Chapter Court holden in KK Marown 19th Oct 1767 The executor is sworn
in Court in form of Law and hath given Pledges for the payment of Debts and
Legacies namely Wm Croy and John Cannon both of Douglas. Probatum Ad - Ro:
