Bride
The last will and testament of Ann Christian
who departed this life about the 22d Novbr 1767,
being of sound mind and memory at the making thereof.
First she committed her soul to God and
body to Christian burial.
Item, She left to her three daughters vizt.,
Cathrine, Isabel and Joney Christian ten shillings each.
Itm, She left to her daughter Cathrine the English blue gown.
Itm, She left to her daughter Isabel the blue gown.
Itm, She left to her daughter Joney the speckled gown.
Itm, She left to her son John a sheep and lamb.
Itm, She left to her sister Joney the cloak.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her loving husband
William Christian whole Executor of all the rest of
her goods movable and immovable whatsoever and six
pence each to the witnesses of the will.

At a Court of Correction holden
at Lezayre, Feb: 29: 1768
The Executor is sworn in court in form of Law,
he undertakes the sole tuition and maintenance
of the children underage & has given pledges
for payment of debts & legacies namely Wm
Joughin & Wm Kewin both of the KK Bride,
Danl. Christian uncle of the children by the
mother’s side is sworn supervisor in form of Law.
