The last will and testament of Margaret Killip als Quay of the parish of
KK Christ Lezaire who departed this life about the 7th of April 1768
being in perfect mind and memory at the making thereof
First she committed her soul to God and body to Christian burial.
Item She left and bequeathed to her daughter Margaret the wife of Ewan
Kneale two sheep and a gown.
Item she left to her son John Killip a waist coat.
She declared that she was owing Elinor Crow the sum of twenty shillings
which said sum she appointed her said son John Killip to pay as the said sum
debt belonging or incumbent upon  the lands that her said son John Killip to
enjoy after her decease (the said John Killip being present at the same time
and promised that the said sum would be paid) she left six pence  legacy to
any person that would claim right to her goods contrary to her last will.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her daughter Christian the wife of
William Craine sole executrix of all the rest of her goods moveable and
immoveable and to the witnesses of her will six pence apiece.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael Oct 19 1769 The executor
William Craine husband of Christian the executrix above named is sworn
executor in court in form of law and has given pledges for payment of debts
and legacies namely Wm Kegg of Ballaugh and and Wm Corlet of Lezayre.
