Archdeacon Wills 1769 #9, Malew, of David Taggart, who died 29 Dec 1768: 
9     Malew
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament 
of David Taggart of the parish of KK Malew who departed 
this life on or about the 29th of December last, being 
of perfect sound memory and understanding at declaring 
these words a few days before his death in manner following
First, he committed his soul to God who gave it and 
his body to Christian burial. 
Item, he left and bequeathed to his brother Nicholas 
Taggart his whole right and title of that part or parcel 
of land commonly called Dreem reaie situate in the parish 
of KK Malew. Lastly, he nominated, constituted and 
appointed his brother Paul Taggart joint and sole 
executor of all his goods and effects moveable and 
immoveable whatsoever and also further ordered that 
if any other person would claim right to his last will 
and testament, he should be deprived and cut off with 
six pence legacy.

At a Chapter Court holden at 
Balnehowin March 1st, 1769
The executor is sworn in Court in form of Law, 
and hath given pledges for the payment of debts 
and legacies namely, The Revd. Daniel Gelling 
& Mr. Wm Taggart of Cordiman
