At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas May 18 1771.
Silvester Halsal of Douglas departed this life on or about the 19th day of
March last past intestate. The court upon intelligence thereof decrees
his only daughter Emma Halsal now wife of Willm Callow sole
administratrix of all his goods and chattels moveable and immoveable
whatsoever whereupon Willm Callow aforesd is sworn well and truly to
administer the goods and chattels of the deceased to pay his just debts
as far as the goods will extend and the law shall bind and has given
pledges in form of law namely Mr Thos Fargher of KK Malew and Mrs Edward
Moore of Douglas
