This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament
of Hugh Creetch of the parish of Maughold who departed
thi live about the 30th of Decembr last past being at
perfect mind and memdory at the makeing thereof
First he committed his soul to God and body to a christian burial.
Itm he left and bequeathed to his son Hugh half a cow which
sd cow his mother had left her half to sd son Hugh before if the
sd Hugh should come for sd cow, but if not then sd cow
was to be beween his son Robt and his daughter Mary
Itm he left to his two daugher vizt Cathren and Margret
five shills [british apiece] and six pence legacy to every person
that will crave right to the effects of this will
Itm he left to his daugher Mary the big chest
Lastly he nominated constitured and appointed his son
Robert and his daughter Mary sole and whole Execrs fo
all the rest of his goods and effects moveable and
imoveable of what kind or nature soever.

At a Court of Correction holden at Lezayre 26 Feb 1772
The Execrs are sworn in Court in form of Law * have
given Pledges for the payment of Debts & Legacies
vizt Wm Creetch & David Kinread of the parish
of KK Maughold they are also to bring to the
Registry

I Margt Creetch do hereby acknowledge to have
recd the sum of five shillings a legacy bequeathed me
by the last will of my father Hugh Creetch & I do hereby
acquit release & discharge the Execrs of sd Hugh Creetch of sd
legacy as witness my mart to my name the date
above written

I Wm Joughen husband of Cathrine Creetch do hereby
acknowledge to have rcd the sum of five shillings a
legacy bequeathed me by the last will & testamt of my
father in law Hugh Creetch & I do hereby release acquit
