This is affirmed by the subscribing witnesses to be the last will and
testament of Ellinor Corkan otherwise Kelley, who departed this life in
the month of May 1772. She being in the judgement of the witnesses in sound
and disposing mind and memory at the time of making thereof.
First she commended her soul to the mercies of God the father, through the
merits and mediation of God the son, her blessed Saviour Jesus
Christ.   She gave and bequeathed to her son William the chest that was
by Patrick's bedside and one shilling.
She gave and bequeathed to her grand children namely John and Ellinor Corkan
the sum of ten shillings a piece and a black handkerchief to her
said grandson John.
To her grandson William she gave eight shillings.
She gave and bequeathed to Anne the wife of her son Patrick and his daughter
Ellinor all the cloaths and linen which two last words were dictated by the
testatrix Caddagh as Aarit equally.
To the witnesses of her will, she gave a shilling a piece between them.
To the witnesses of her will, she gave a shilling a piece between them.
And all the rest residue and remainder of her goods and effects she gave and
bequeathed unto her dutiful son Patrick Corkan, whom she appointed sole
executor of her last will and testament.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael 26 Oct 1772.
The executrix is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for
the payment of debts and legacies vizt Pat Cannell (Fourtowns) and Wm Cannon
one of the witnesses both of KK Michael.
