The Last Will and Testament of Jane Lewin alls Creer of the Parish of Braddan who Departed this life at or about the 2th of Feby 1772 being of Sound mind and memory --- First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial --- She left to her sons Thos Robt and John one sheep a piece – She left to her Daughter Elizabeth twenty shillings a Coat and a bed gown --- She left to her Daughter Margaret twenty shillings a Coat & a Cloak -- She left to her Daughter Mary twenty shillings and she left to John and Mary the Remaining part of her Close and linnins to be Divided by her husbands Disposal Lastly she nominated and appointed her loving husband Gillnoo Lewin Sole Execr of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever --- Witnesses Willm Cottier} Jurati John Oates } At a Court of Correction holden at Douglas April 07 1772 the Execr is sworn in court in form of Law & undertakes the Tuition & maintenance of the Decds part of the Children, Pledges for the payment of Debts & legacies vizt the Witnesses of the Will Probatum Est Ja: Wilks John Moore Thos Cubbon
