37 Malew In the name of God Amen. The last will and testament of Peter Layland and Elizabeth Layland his wife committeth their souls to God and their bodys to Christian buryal. They both being at perfect mind and memory sayeth that whosoever be the longeth liver of each that the both join and bequeath to each other all their right, title, and interest they now have or may have hereafter moveable or unmovable and do hereby revoke any will or wills by them at anytime before or after made or declared either in words or writing and declare this to be their voluntary act and deed. We leave our son Thomas Layland six pence legacy. We leave our daughter Jane six pence legacy. We leave our son John six pence legacy. And we bequeath to any person or persons whatsoever that will or could claim any right or title hereafter - do bequeath unto them six pence legacy and in testimony hereof the said Peter Layland and Elizth his said wife do sign their marks to their names this date 22 Dec 1772.
