22 Patrick
This being the last will and testament of Cathrine Cowle als Clucas of
KK Patrick who departed this life about the 29th of Nov 1773 being of sound
and perfect mind and memory at the making hereof as follows:
First committing her soul to Almighty God and her body to Christian
Burial.
Secondly she left to her two daughters viz Anne and Catherine Cowle
eight pounds a piece and further she left to her eldest daughter the
aforesaid Anne Cowle all what was due unto her by her parents in Kione
Slean.
Item she left to her eldest son Wm Cowle four or five bowls of oats.
Item She left to Ellinor Quilliam a blue quilted petticoat.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her loving husband Thos Cowle to be whole
and sole executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable
whatsoever. And excluding any other person or persons that might pretend to
claim further right to her goods with six pence legacy apiece.

At a Court of correction holden at Peeltown 1st Feb 1774 Thos executor is
sworn in court in form of law under takes the maintenance and tuition
of the ----- part of the children under age and their effects, Ann,
Richard, John and Thos Clucas, Wm Clucas. Patrick Kelly and Wm Quirk
uncles of the motheršs side are sworn guardians and supervisors of the
children under age to the payment of debts and legacies are Wm and Thos
Cowle both of KK Patrick, Probatum est Thos Cubbon.
