At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas June 6th 1774 Ellinor Killip
(spinster) departed this Life on or about the 17th Day of May last past
Intestate — The Court upon Intelligence thereof hath Decreed her Brothers &
Sisters namely William, Joney, Jane, Margt & Ann Killip joint Adminrs of
all her Goods & Chattels moveable & immoveable what soever Wm Killip, John
Brew Husband of Joney & Danl Scarffe Husband of Jane aforesd thinking that
the Effects of the decd will not surmount her Funeral Expenses have
surrendered their Right of the Administration to Jas Kneale husband of
Margt aforesd who is thereupon sworn well & truly to administer the Goods
of the Intestate, to pay all her just Debts as far as the Goods will extend
& the Law shall bind & to be true & just to Riced Corfu husband of Ann
aforesd (who is absent) in the Division of the goods & hath given Pledges
in Form of Law namely Wm Killip & John Brew (his brothers) both of KK Lonan
