This being the Last Will and Testament of Phinlo Shimmin 
of Kneeb in KK German who departed this life about the 
28th May 1774 being of sound and perfect mind and memory 
at the making hereof as follows.
First Committing his Soul to Almighty God And his Body 
to Christian Burial
Itm    He left to his Eldest son Thos Shimmin all his 
part or Right of the Quarter land of Kerroo ne Glogh in said parish
Itm    He left to his two sons Thos and John Shimmin all 
his part share or Right of that field of the Quarter land 
of Kerroo Glass commonly called the Stone flat Equally between them.
Itm    He further left to his said son John Shimmin all 
his share or part of that field called the little Flatt 
the same lying south ward of the [Highway[?]]
Itm    He left to his son Wm Shimmin all his share or 
Right of that meadow belonging to him commonly called 
Leaney Hunter. He paying eight pounds out of the premises 
towards discharging the Testator’s Debts also He left him 
his part of the Colt. Also the said Thos Shimmin is by the 
Will of the Testator to give his Brother the said Wm 
Shimmin as much Timber as will be a Roof of a House.
Itm     It was provided by the Testator at the making or 
declaring of said Will that if in case his said son Thos 
Shimmin would dye without lawful Issue then those premises 
left him as aforesaid shall revert & return back to the 
next of kin as the witnesses apprehended.
Lastly He Nominated a& appointed his loving wife Isable Shimmin 
als Clucas to be whole & sole extrix of all the rest of 
his Goods moveable and immoveable of what nature or kind so ever.

The Execx is sworn in Court in Form of Law & has 
given pledges for the payment of Debts & Legacies 
namely viz the Witnesses of the Will
