Rushen 1775
The last will and testament of John Corkish
of Soroby, in the parish of Trinity Rushen
who departed this life about the 26th of Augst
1775 & was of sound mind & memory at the declaring thereof
Impmis He commended his soul to Almighty God, and
his body to Christian burial.
Item He left and bequeathed to his son John Corkish
six pence legacy.
Item he left and bequeathed to his son Henry Corkish
six pence legacy.
Lastly He nominated constituted & appointed his
loving daughter Anne Corkish sole execx
of all the rest of his goods moveable & immoveable
and cuts all claimers of six pence legacy
each

The Execx is sworn in Court in form of law &
hath given pledges for payment of debts &
legacies vizt Wm Quiggen one of the witnesses and
