November 8th 1774
The last will and testament of Christopher Gick Junior of KK Santan who
being of perfect mind and memory at the making or declaring hereof.
He committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.
He bequeathed to his son John twenty pounds.
He bequeathed to his daughter Elinor twenty pounds.
He bequeathed to his daughter Elizabeth twenty pounds.
He bequeathed to his daughter Jane twenty pounds.
He bequeathed to his son William his share or his part of the husbandry
gears and if his son William shall die without issue and his son John to
become heir then the legacy which was bequeathed to his son John to be
returned and become divided unto the rest of his children equally
between them when he possesseth the estate and if so be that his son John
shall die without issue then his daughter Eliza Ann (can't read the rest)
He left to the poor of the parish twenty shillings to be laid out

He appointed and ordained that none of his children were to enjoy the
legacys which is bequeathed to them until twenty one years of age.
Item He left and bequeathed to his loving wife the benefit of the estate
to be enjoyed or not or afterwards shall become due unto him for the
maintenance of his children until the heir comes to the age of twenty
one years if his wife shall continue in his name.
Lastly he nominated and appointed his said wife sole executrix of all the
rest of his goods movable and immoveable whatsoever.  He appointed and
ordained his brother William Gick whole and sole supervisor and guardian
over his children.

At a court of Correction holden at Castletown 22 Feb 1775.
The executrix is sworn in court in form of law and also undertakes the
maintenance and tuition of the children under age and their goods by consent
of Wm Gick who is sworn supervisor and guardian to the will. Pledges for
payment of debts and legacies are Wm Gick the guardian and John Clucas of KK
Santan
