7      Braddan
The last will and testament of Isabel Leece 
als Kissack of KK Braddan as follows: She 
being in perfect mind and sound memory at 
the making hereof, first she bequeathed her 
soul to God and her body to Christian burial. 
She left unto her son William Leece three pounds. 
Item, she left thirteen pounds and all her clothes
and linen equally between her three daughters, 
viz., Elinor Kearmot, Isabel Moore, and 
Dorothy Crebbin. 
Item, she left unto her son Robert Leece 
two shillings British. 
Item, she left one furlet of barley to 
be distributed among the poor people 
of the parish. 
Item, she left six pence to debar or 
cut off anyone that could claim
any right to her effects. 
Lastly, she nominated, constituted appinted, 
and ordained her beloved husband 
William Leece whole and sole executor 
of all the rest of her worldly effects 
and what nature or denomination so ever.

William Hampton.

At a Court of Correction 
holden at Douglas, 
February 20th, 1775, 
The executor is sworn in Court in form 
of law and hath given pledges for the 
payment of debts and legacies, namely 
Robert Leece and Wm Hampton one of the witnesses
