Maughold

     This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
   Margret Creetch als Kermeen of the parish of KK Maughold
   who departed this life about the 7th of August 1776: being
   at perfect mind and memory at the makeing hereof
First She committed her soul to God and body to a Christian burial
Itm. She left and bequeathed to her loving husband Willm Creetch her
   part of the black horse her part of the best cow her part of his
   choice dozen of sheep, the bed whereon she lay with its cloaths
   two new blankets a peice of fine lennin cloath for two shirts
   for him, and the big chest, and that the sd bed and big chest to
   decend to her daughter Cathren after her sd husband decease.
Itm. She left to her two sons John & Willm Creetch her part of a new
   peice of cloath that was in the house equally betwixt them
Itm. She left to her two daughters Cathren and Mary all her apparel
   both woollen and lennen equally betwixt them and sixpence legacy
   to every one that craves a right to the effects of this will.
Lastly She nominated constituted and appointed her two sons and two daughters
   vizt John, Willm, Cathren and Mary Creetch sole and whole
   Execrs of all the rest of her goods and effects moveable and
   immoveable of what kind or nature soever; and that her sd sons
   not to receive the good untill they arrive to the age of twentyone
   years and her husband to have the benefit of the goods till then
   She left to the witnesses sixpence apeice.

John & Catharine Creetch two of the Excrs named in the above
Will (the other Exrs named being absent) are sworn in Court in
Form of Law as also to be true & just the one to the other as
also to their absent Bro & Sister in the division of the goods & have
given pledges for the paymt of debs & legacies namely the
witnesses of the Will
