10 Malew This is affirmed to be the last will land testament of Nicholas Gelling of the parish of KK Malew who died on or about the 5th of Jan 1777 who being of perfect mind and memory at the making thereof. First he bequeathed his soul to God and his body to a Christian burial expecting pardon for all his sins. Item: He left and bequeathed to his eldest son Thomas the sum of two shillings and eleven pence. Lastly He bequeathed and appointed Christian his loving wife and his youngest son John Gelling joint executors of all the rest of his goods and effects movable and immoveable of whatsoever. Witness present at the making hereof: William Callen his mark John Shimmin Jurati James Wilks The before named John Gelling who is joint executor with his mother Christian Gelling by his fathers will doth with the consent of his two uncles which are the nearest of kin to the said John Gelling give and deliver up to his mother all his right of the executorship of the Before going will for the sum of twelve pounds to be paid out or upon the 12th day of May next as witness our names and marks this 31st day of January 1777.
