To all people to whom these presents shall come, 
I Margaret Taubman als Woods descent greeting. 
Know ye that I the same Margrett Taubman als 
Woods of Peeltown in the Parish of KK German for 
and in consideration of the love good will and 
affection which I have and do bear towards my 
loving son John Taubman of the town and Parish 
aforesaid, have given and granted, and by these 
presents do freely give and grant unto the said 
John Taubman after my decease, unto him his heirs 
executors administrators and assigns, all and 
singular my goods and chattels now being in my 
dwelling house in the town and parish aforesaid, 
likewise the sum of twenty pounds being in a 
mortgage in Robert Callister land in the parish of 
KK Michael now by the name of Balnarenney of which 
these presents I have delivered him the said John 
Taubman an inventory signed with my own hand and 
bearing even date, to have and to hold, all the 
said goods and chattels and money in the aforesaid 
premises to him the said John Taubman his heirs 
executors administrators and assigns after my 
decease as aforesaid, as his and their proper 
goods and chattels, in witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and mark this 9th of May 1768.

                  At a Court of Correction holden 
                  at Peeltown February 7th 1777
Thomas Witham and Thomas Cubbon two of the 
subscribing witnesses made oath on the holy 
Evangelists that Mary Taubman duly executed the 
within before going deed of gift in their presence.

John Taubman the Donee .... for the .... 
of debts of her brother Margt Taubman and 
hath pledges for the payment of debts .... 
John Gell & .... Taubman           

                At a Court of Correction holden 
                at Peeltown 7th February 1777 
The before going Deed of Gift being lawfully proved, 
the same is accepted as and for the last will and 
testament of Margt Taubman, and John Taubman the 
Donee is Executor in Court in form of Law, and 
hath given pledges for the payment of debts namely 
John Gell and Thomas Taubman.
