33 Rushen
This is affirmed to be the last will & testatment of
William Qualtrough near Kewintraugh in the parish
of KK Christ Rushen who departed this life on Monday
last past, he the said testator being of sound an
[perfect] mind, mememory and understanding at the
pronouncing this his last will and testament which
he [published & ] declared in presence of the undernamed
witnesses on Tuesday last past in manner herein
mentioned.
First, He the said testator William Qualtrough willed
& bequeathed his soul to God and his body to
Christian burial.
Secondly, He left and bequeathed his part of his waterborn miln with
its appurtenances and the land thereunto belonging
to be the property of his daughter Elinor Qualtrough
the wife of Peter Kennish to be possessed after the decease
of his the said testator's wife and Execturix hereinafter
mentioned. And further declared that his said daughter
was not to possess said miln and concerns until
after the decease of his the said testator's wife.
Thirdly, He the said testator left and bequeathed unto his
daughter Jane Qualtrough the wife of Mathias
Corrin [all] his the said testator's lands called Bradda
in the parish of KK Christ Rushen with its appurtenances.
Lastly, And lastly he nominated & appointed his loving wife
Jane Qualtrough the whole and sole Executrix &
legatee of all the rest of his goods, chattles & effects
moveable and immoveable in what nature soever.
