The last will and testament of Christopher Gick now of Ballagick in the
parish of KK St Anne being of perfect mind and memory made the 7th day of
December 1772 as follows:
First he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.
Item He left and bequeath to his son Christopher all his shaped clothing
woollen and linnen.
Item He left to his loving wife Margt Gick the beds bed clothes and all
the rest of the cloths woollen and linen shaped or unshaped (except
what was left to his son Christopher with all the wheels and cards a
little chest and three pounds of money.
Item He bequeath to his granddaughter Jane Creer twenty shillings.
Lastly he nominated ordains and appointed his son Wm and his daughter
Ellinor Shimmin (whole and sole) executor and executrix of all the rest
of his goods and effects movable and immoveable of what kind or denomination
soever.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown May 25th 1778 John Shimmin husband
of Ellinor and William Gick the other executor are sworn in
court in form of law pledges the witnesses of the will.
At KK Patrick Aug 17th 1778 Jane Creer received 20 shillings this day.
At KK Patrick Aug 17,1778 - Margaret Gick wife of the within testator
received all legacies bequeath to her by her said husband.
