The last will and testament of Esther Radcliffe of the parish of KK Andrews
being of sound mind and memory at the making thereof
She committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
She left and bequeathed to her daughter Ann the wife of William Cleator her
cloak as legacy.
She left to her four daughters namely Ann, Mary, Esther and Jane the wifešs
of Wm Cleator, Gilbert Tear, Thomas Allen and Patrick Christian
all her shaped clothes both woolen and linen as legacy.
She left and bequeathed to her son Philip Radcliffe half a guinea as
legacy and to Jane her said sonšs wife half a guinea as legacy.
She left and bequeathed to her said daughter Ann half a guinea as legacy.
She declared that the legacy bequeathed to her son Charles Radcliffe by his
father is paid him to about twelve shillings and that the legacy bequeathed
to her son John Radcliffe is due to him yet and that she owes him twenty
shillings beside the said legacy bequeathed to him by his
father.
She left and bequeathed to her god daughter Jane Radcliffe a sheep as legacy
and to her god daughter Ann Radcliffe a sheep as legacy.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her two sons John Radcliffe and Charles
Radcliffe executors of all the rest of her goods moveable and immovable
whatsoever.
