	This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament of Thomas 
	Taubman of Castletown who departed this life on or about the
	4th day of May in the year of our Lord 1778 being of sound and 
	disposing mind memory and understanding at the making hereof 
First 	He committed his soul to God who gave it, and his body to 
	Christian Burial 
Item 	He left and bequeathed to Richard Crellin the sum of ten pounds 
Item  	He left and bequeathed to Sally Crellin wife of Richd Crellin 
	the sum of one pound ten shillings
Item  	He left and bequeathed to his Daughter Anne Clucas wife of 
	William Clucas of [Portlemorrey] the sum of one pound ten shillings 
Item  	He left and bequeathed unto his Daughter Ellinor Taubman the 
	sum of twenty shillings provided she returned to the Island 
Lastly  He nominated constituted and appointed his son John Taubman 
	sole Exor and Residuary Legatee of all of his Goods & Chattles 
	and Effects of what nature or Denomination whatever

The Extr is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given 
pledges for the payment of Debts and Legacies namely 
Richd Crelling and John Ball both of Castletown
