Parish of Trinity Rushen on
the 21st Day of Augst 1779
Cavalier Qualtrough (Bachelor) having (sd by D…?
received ) departed this life on the Coast of Africa about
seven years ago, and this Court having received
Intelligence thereof hath Decreed his Brethren and Sister,
namely, William, Thomas, Edward, John and Jane Qualtrough
and his Father Wm Qualtrough in the Right of the Intestate and
Brother Charles Qualtrough (who was living but has
since departed this Life Intestate) joint admnrs of all and
singular the Goods, Rights, Credits, Chattels and Effects of the
sd Cavalier Qualtrough, whereupon the sd Wm Qualtrough Jun.
aforesd ( the other Brethren & Sister being absent)
is sworn well and truly to administer the Effects of the said
Intestate, to return a perfect Inventory thereof to the
Registry of this Court, to pay all the just Debts of
his Intestate so far forth as the sd Effects wil extend
and the Law shall bind him, and to be true and just
to his Co admnrs in the Division of the sd Effects, to which
ends he hath given Pledges in Form of Law namely ~
the said Wm Qualtrough Sen and John Lace Esqr, Attorney
at Law/
