In the name of God Amen I James Corkil
of Balnesloo of the parish of KK Maughold being weak
in body but of perfect mind and memory blessed be God for
it, and calling to Remembrance the uncertain Estate of this Life,
do this first day of May in the year of our Lord one
Thousand seven hundred & seventy nine make and declare
this my Last will and Testament in manner and form
Following._
First I Commit my Soul to God and my Body to Christian
Burial,
Item I Leave and bequeath all my Right and Title to the Mut
-ton Sheep and lambs that are between my Son James
and me equally between my two Sons James and Edward
Corkil save a Choice mutton or sheep for my Funeral & also my
Right of the Sheep lambs & muttons with Wm. Creetch to them in like manner
Item I Leave and bequeath to my Son Robert all my Right
To the Sheep that are with Robert Kerruish
Item I Leave to my Grandson John Corkil a Sheep and
a lamb of the Sheep that are with John Curlet & also a Sheep
and a lamb to my Grandson Robert Corkil
Item I Leave and bequeath the one half of the youngest cow that
I have to Cathrine Quay that is in the house with us
Item I Leave and bequeath all my Right to the Sheep that are
with William Quayle to my Grandson Edward Corkil
Item I leave and bequeath to my Son John the dresser after
the decease of my wife
Lastly I Nominate Constitute and appoint my wife Cathrine
Corkil whole and Sole Executrix of all the rest of
my Goods and Effects moveable and Immoveable
soever
of what kind or nature ^ and six pence Legacy to any
person that may pretend a Right to this my last will
