This is affirmed to be the Last Will and Testament
of Ann Corteen als Kinnish of the parish of
Kk Maughold who departed this Life about the
13th of March 1779 being of perfect mind and
memory at the making thereof.
She committed her soul to god and her body to Christian
Burial.
She left and bequeathed to her two sons Thos &
John Corteen Ten pounds Each ??? part of all
the bed Cloathes Except the bed
 [that was in the ???? house]
?? a coverlet and blanket and ??? and to her son
John a herring Cooller
Item    She left to Ann Corteen one Guinea a small spinning
        wheel some whisted yarn that was on the ??? and
        a red silk handkerchief.
        She left to her Daughter Ann six yards of wisted 
        stuff for a gown, and the remainder of the sd stuff
        she left to her daughter in law Margt Corteen.
Item    she left to Alice Craine of Kk Braden a black oallen
        mankie gown. She left to her grandaughter Ann 
        Cashen one Lamb. She Declared that Willm Callow of Cardle
        veg and his wife owed her some money and she
        Left one Guinea of the same to their children and
        in manner following vizt. half a Guinea to their Eldest
        son to buy him some Lambs and the other half guinea
        Equally between the rest of their children to buy
        the some Lambs. She left to her grandaughter
        Cathe Moore one Guinea.  
Note: Cathe thought to be illegitimate daughter of John Moore and Margaret Corteen.
