John Garret, 1780

This is affirmed to be the last Will & Testament of John
Garret of the Town of Ramsey Cooper, who is of sound
mind and Memory at the making hereof -----
   He commends his soul to God & Body to a Christian
Burial --  Item he leaves and bequeaths his son William
Garret the Sum of Forty shillings --  Item he leaves &
Bequeaths his youngest Daughter Jane Garret the sum
of One Pound & ten Shillings --  Item he Bequeaths his
Daughter Elizth. the sum of One Pound, four shillings &
six pence   Item he Bequeaths his Daughr Margaret the
Sum of twenty shillings --  Item he Bequeaths his Daughr
Ellinor the Sum of Fifteen Shillings   Item he leaves & --
Bequeaths his Son Robt the Sum of one Pound, four --
Shillings & sixpence   Item he leaves and bequeaths his fore
sd. Daughter Elizth. his right of a piece Blue ... which
was bought of Quayles wife   Item he leaves & bequeaths his
two Sones; Namely Robt & William, his Cloathing shaped
Excepting his two Best Suits, which he bequeaths his son
John Garret  --  Item he leaves & he bequeaths his sd. Son John
the Chest which has the sd. Cloaths in it -- if his wife
Consents thereunto -- in Lieu of which he bequeaths his
wife, his right of the china Cups, Saucers &c and --
Silver Spoons -- Lastly he Nominates, ordains & appoints
his foresaid Son John whole & sole Executor of all the
Rest of his Worldly, Effects, goods & Chattles, of what kind
or Denomination  soever -- he bequeaths, Sixpence to all
Creavers & one Shilling each to the Witnesses hereof, and
this made 22nd day of February 1780 --
