34 Michael In the name of God Amen I Thomas Key of the parish of KK Michael being weak in body but of sound mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life do make this my last will and testament in manner following. First I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial. He left a six pence legacy to all claimers in his will. To the witnesses he bequeathed a shilling each. He nominated constituted and appointed Christian Cottier his sole executrix of all his goods and effects of moveable and immoveable of what kind or nature soever. Thos Key my X Witnesses present: John Clague Alice Christian my X Jurati. At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael June 26th 1781. The executrix is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Cain and Danl Caine both of KK Michael. Probatum est Thos Cubbon.
