   The last will and testament of William Creetch of
   Ballacrinck of the parish of KK Maughold made this 8th
   Febry 1783 being of perfect mind and memory at the
   making hereof.
First He committed his soul to God and his body to Christian
   burial.
Item He left and bequeathed his part of all his cloathes
   bed and bedcloathes husbandery gears the corn in the
   haggard the dressed and undressed corn within & without
   and all that was of the nature of meal the crop that is
   to be in Crowereen ground this year and all his part of
   of Crowereen hereafter his part of the crop that is to be in
   Ballacrink this year and his part of twenty five pounds
   that was in William Callow of Ballagilley's Land wholly
   to his Loving wife.
Item He left ten pounds to the poor of the parish of KK
   Maughold and not to the poor of the town of Ramsey to
   be put in mortgage and the interst thereof to come to
   come to the poor of the parish.
Item He left a crown to Robt Kerruish in Ramsey (Gioler ?)
Item He left his part of the small boat to his neighbour John
   Kerruish and his long fishing line to Willm Kerruish.
Item He declred that he had Bills upon Ewan Moore of
   KK Maughold fair and honest and that John Corkill and
   Peter Murrey was able to give an account of some
   of the aforesd bills and that sd bills were accounts
   of two years and that he dropped the first year of sd
   bills to Ewan Moore, and said that John Corlet of
   Renab owed him seventeen shillings Manx and four
   shillings British for the grass of a beast and all that
   he had got was two hundred of herrings from him
Item He left for the use of a school house and garden as
   much ground as would be sufficient or convenient ..
   Largy adjoining Thos Kerruish's land.
Lastly He nominated consitiuted and appointed his sd lov=
   ing wife and Willm Joughen of KK Maughold joint
   Exrs of all the rest of his goods and effects of what
   kind or nature so ever and said that the aforesd Willm
   Joughen had two guineas that he owed him and appointed
   the said Exrs to put a written stone at the end of his
   grave to show that he left ten pounds to the poor of
   the parish of KK Maughold and if the said stone was
   broken or out order that the interest of the ten pounds
   that he left to the poor was to make it again and 
   six pence legacy to all cravers and two shillings
   to the witnesses of my last will.

Wm Joughen one of the Exrs having in open Court
relinguished his right to the Exrship, Margaret
Creetch the widow is sworn Exrx in Court in
form of Law & hath given Pledges for the
payment od Debts & Legacies namely the
witnesses of the Will

Margaret Creetch, Agreement, 1784


   Whereas Margret Creetch relict of Willm Creetch deceased
   and Wm Joughen both of the parish of KK Maughold
   are left joint Execrs of sd Willm Creetche's effects
   by the last will of Wm Creetch, And the sd Margret
   Creetch and sd willm Joughen have made the following
   agreement
First it is agreed the abovesd Willm Joughen do hereby
   aquit relinquish and give up unt the sd Margt
   Creetch all his right of the Executorship effects
   of sd Wm Creetch in consideration that sd Margt
   Creetch do hereby engage herself to pay to the sd
   Willm Joughen the sum of two pounds besides
   aquiting and giveing up whatever did he owe
   or was indebted unto sd Wm Creetch (decease) and
   his wife Margt Creetch. And this under the penalty
   of twenty pounds sterling to be levied and paid
   according of Law and Pracice as witness their names
   and marks this 16th of June 1784.

I Robt Kerruish [s]idler do hereby acknowledge to have
rcd the sum of a crown from Margt Creetch widow the
Exrx of Wm Creetch the same being a legacy bequeathed
me by the last will & testamt of sd Wm Creetch & I do
hereby acquit release exonerate & discharge the Exrx of
sd Wm Creetch of all & every part of sd legacy as witness
my mark to my name this 25 Feby 1785

Edwd Christian enters a claim agst the
Exs of Wm Creetch for the sum of £7-0-0 & craves
the law.
