KK Jurby In the name of God amen I Philip Brew in Jurby being weak of body but by the blessing of God, of sound & perfect mind & memory do make this my last will and testament in form following. First I commit my soul to God and body to Christian burial. Item I leave to my daughter Margaret Brew nine pounds Item I leave to my son John Brew three pounds Item I leave to my daughter Jane Brew three pounds Item I leave to my son Thomas Brew my part of the husbandry gears, & the whole Cubboard after the decease of the longer liver & choice Pott & twenty shillings Legacy Item I leave to my grandson John Brew ten shillings & ten shillings to my grandson Philip Brew Item I leave to my grandaughters namely Eleanor and Jane Brew ten shillings each. Item I leave to my grandson, Son of Thomas Brew an ewe and two lambs & five shillings Legacy. The ewe and two lambs are not to be praised but immediately for his own benefit. Item I leave to my loving wife Margret Brew my right and title in joint a Parcel of land situated in the Parish of KK Andreas called Faie Vasstin or Vasstin's Flat after her own Dishovxx Lastly I do nominate constitute ordain & appoint my loving wife Margaret Brew whole & sole Executrix of all the rest of my goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever. I leave to the witnesses to this my last will one shilling each Whereof I have caused my name to be subscribed to this the 28th day of March 1782 Phillip Brew my mark Witness
