At a Chapter Court holden in KK Onchan
the 13th of October 1783 
Joney Lewney of the Parish of Lonan and Robert Lewney her 
husband having severally & respectively departed this life on or about 
the 17th & 29th of Janry last past Intestate. The Court upon 
Intelligence thereof hath decreed their five children vizt Rob. John 
& William Margt & Ellinor together with Willm Ellinor & Joney 
Christian children of Joney Lewney decd another son vizt Wm 
John Ellinor & Ann who are all under age joint Administrators 
of all & singular the sd Joney & Robert Lewney’s goods chattles & effects 
movable & immovable of what kind or nature soever   Whereupon
Robert Lewney aforesd. Patrick Kelly husband of the sd Margt,  Phillip 
Hogg, husband of Ellinor and the sd Wm Lewney children of the sd 
intestates before named to pay all their just debts so far forth as 
the said goods & chattles will extend & the law shall bind them
to return a true & perfect inventory of such effects to the Regry 
And to be true & just to their absent Co-administrators in the 
division of the residuum of the said effects and to these ends they 
have given Pledges in form of law namely Patrick Kelly
Junr of KK Braddan & James Scarff of KK Onchan
