Will Dated 2 Feb 1784
The last will and testament of David Cain of the parish of Jurby, being of
sound memory and understanding made the same in manner following:
He bequeathed to his daughter Ann, wife of Thomas Callister of the said
parish 1 sheep and a lamb.
He willed to his daughter Mary 1 sheep and a lamb.
He left one shilling each to any person claiming right or title to his goods
and effects.
Lastly he nominated and appointed his son Patrick Caine sole and whole
executor of all the rest of his goods and chattels and effects whatever for
taking car of his son David.
Will Proved November 18, 1789.
Executor is also sworn guardian and supervisor of his brother David Cain.
Thomas Callister, husband of Ann, and David Cain husband of Mary, daughter
of the testator, acknowledge receipt from Patrick Cain, the executor of the
sheep and lamb.
