Maughold
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Jane Taggart als
Corkill widow of the parish of KK Maughold made the 7th day of October 1782
being of sound disposing mind and memory at the making hereof.
She committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
She left and bequeathed to her daughter Catherine Moore one guinea that was
due to her the testatrix from Robert Moore and from her said daughter
Catherine his wife and if her said daughter should die before
the end of five or six years that the guinea was to return to her
executrixes.
She left and bequeathed to Christian Cannell the wife of John Cannel a
suit of caps and her black hood.
She left and bequeathed a suit of caps to Isabel Kissage
She left a shilling to each craver.
Lastly she nominated constituted and appointed her two daughters Jane and
Mary Taggart joint executrixes of all the rest of her goods moveable and
immoveable of what kind or nature soever and a shilling a piece to
the witnesses of her will.

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre June 16th 1784 Robert Kennish husband
of Jane and Mary the other executor named are sworn in court in form of law
as also to be true and just one to the other in the division of the effects
and have given pledges John Cashen and John Cannell.
