In the name of God amen. This is affirmed to be the last Will
and Testament of Gilbert Kinread of the parish of KK Christ
Lezayre who being sick and weak in body, but of perfect mind
and sound memory at making of the same the thirteenth day
of February 1784 - thinking on the transitory Life and the
uncertainty thereof made this his las Will and Testament.
First he committed his soul to God, and his body to Christian
brial.
Itm He left and bequeathed to his brother John Kinread the sum
of thirty shillings. Item He left & bequeathed to his
nephew John Kinread thirty shillings - or the sheep, that is,
his sheep that were going to their fold - the sd John Kinread jnr
was to take his choice of either the one or the other. Item he
left and bequeathed to his sister Anne Kinread the sum of
twenty shillings. Item he left and bequeathed to his niece
Margaret Brew als Kinread twenty shillings. Item he left
and bequeathed to his brother William Kinread one shilling if
he would come for it. Lastly he nominated and appointed his
loving wife Isabel Kinread als Gill sole & whole Executrix
of all the rest of his goods, moveable & immoveable, of what kind
and nature soever - and to the witnesses of thie his Will one
shilling each.

NB.
Catherine Fisher one of the above named witnesses came to the
Testator's house the day after his making the above Will, and
the sd Gilbert Kinread declared in her presence, that instead
of the thirty shillings wch he left to his nephew John Kinread
above named he left him the sum of forty shillings and the
sheep before mentioned to his beloved wife Isabel Kinread

Isabel Kinread the within named Extrx having
departed this life having appointed her sister Mary
Gill her Exetx & that Peter Quikr husband of
sd Mary Gill is sworn Exr in court in form of
law & hath given pledges for payment of
debts & legacies namely John Skillicorn &
John Kneale both of Lezayre.
