At a Chapter Court holden in Lezayre on the 3rd day of June 1785

Peter Lace of the parish of Kk Andreas having departed 
this life on or about the 27th day of May last past Intestate 
and, this court having intelligence thereof hath Decreed 
his 2 children, namely, William & Christian Lace joint 
administrators of all his Goods, Chattels and Effects 
moveable and immoveable whatever. They are there[for]
sworn well and truly to administer the said Goods & Effects, 
to pay all of the intestate's just Debts so far as the sd. 
Goods will extend and the Law shall bind them, and to be 
true and just to each to the other in the division of the 
Residium of the said goods, to which ends they have given 
pledges in form of Law, namely, Charles Radcliffe and Richard 
Wade both of Kk Andreas
