ANDREAS
This is the Last will and testament of John
Radcliff of KK Andrews who departed this Life
May 26th 1785 Being of a sound mind and
Memory at the making therof.
First He commiteth his soul to God and his Body to
Christian Burial
He left to his Daughter Easter Radcliff Ten pounds
Currency of this Isle to be paid when she will
Arrive to the age of twenty one years till that
Age she hath no right to it But in case said
Daughter die before said age than and in that case
The aforesaid the pounds shall be at his Wife Marget
own disposal.
Likewise He left to his Thomas Radcliff his brother
Son Eight shillings which is in his Father’s hand
And his wife Marget to quit her part.
He left on his wife Marget to keep his daughter
To school and to bring her up in the far of the
Lord; to every person or persons who shall claim
Any thing in this will six pence
Lastly He left his Wife Marget a sole Exec’r of all the
Rest of his goods moveable and immoveable What so ever

The Exec is sworn in court in form of Law
And also guardian and supervisor of the child
Under age, and hath given pledges for the
Payment of debts and legacies namely
Rob’t Kneale one of the witnesses and Thomas Radcliffe
Both of KK Andreas, Thos Radcliffe uncle by
The father’s side is also sworn guardian and
Supervisor of the child under age.
