At a Consistory Court holden at KK Michael the 28th day of Sep 1786.
Jane Crellin als Harrison of the parish of KK German having departed this
life on or about the 3rd day of this instant month intestate.  The court
upon receiving intelligence thereof have decreed her seven children
namely Patrick, Matthew, Catharine, Christian, Jane, Mary and Margaret
Crellin sole and joint administrators of all her goods, rights, credits,
chattels and effect moveable and immovable whatever, John another
child of the intestate having been proved for as alledged by Marriage
Settlement and the said Patrick, Matthew, Catherine, Mary, and Margaret,
being both deaf and dumb James Crellin Husband  of Christian and
Thomas Kelly husband of Jane aforesaid in their own right and Matthew
Crellin the widower in Trust for his said children Patrick, Matthew,
Catharine, Mary and Margaret are sworn well and truly to administer the
estate of their intestate to return a perfect inventory thereof to the
registry of this court and to pay all her just debts so far forth as her
goods and effects will extend and the law shall bind them and to these
ends have given pledges in form of law namely Patrick Crellin and James
Cowell Senior both of the parish of KK German.  The said Mathew Crellin
the widower hath the said children, who are deaf and dumb, and their
goods committed to his tuition and with John Crellin their brother and James
Crellin and Thomas Kelly aforesaid are sworn their guardians and
supervisors.
