Arbory
At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown on the 15th day of June 1786
Margaret Taubman als Moore of the parish of Kirk Arbory having departed this
life on or about the second day of the month of April last past intestate.
And the court having received intelligence thereof have
decreed her eight children namely John, Thomas, William, Henry, Richard,
Elizabeth, Jane and Salisbury Taubman joint administrators of all her
goods and chattels moveable and immovable whatever Catharine another child
of the intestate having been provided for dowry Marriage
Settlement and the said John, Thos, Henry Taylor husband of the said
Jane, Elizth, and Salisbury before said having surrendered and relinquished
their right to the administration to their father John Taubman. He is
thereupon sworn well and truly to administer the goods and effects of
the intestate to return a perfect inventory thereof to the Registry of
this court to pay all the just debts of the said intestate so far forth a
her said goods and effects will extend and the law shall bind him and to
be guardian and supervisor of his children who are under age and hath given
pledges in form of law namely John Costean and Thomas Clague
both of the parish of KK Arbory.
