Malew
At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown on the 13th day of June 1787.
Nicholas Harrison of the parish of KK Malew having departed this life in
or about the month of August last past intestate and this court having
received intelligence thereof, have decreed his two daughters namely
Margaret and Catharine Harrison sole and joint administratrixes of all
and singular the goods chattels and effects of the intestate, the Rev¹d
David Harrison another child of the intestate having relinguished his
right to the administration of the effects in open court . And the said
Catharine only being present, she is thereupon sworn well and truly to
administer the goods chattels and effects of her intestate, to pay all his
just debts so far forth as the goods and effects will extend and the law
shall bind her and to be faithful and just to her co administrators in the
division of the residuum of the said goods and effects. To which ends
she hath given pledges in form of law, namely the Rev'd David Harrison
her brother and the Rev John Clague Vicar of Rushen
