12        Braddan
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Dorothy Looney
wife to Henry Looney of the parish of K Braddan who departed this life on
about the 21 day of November last past - She being weak in body but of
perfect mind and memory at the making hereof.
First she committed her soul to the Almighty God and her body to a Christian
burial and for her goods and effects she left them as follows: She left to
her son Thomas Looney a yearling.
She left her other son William Looney one sheep.
She left to William Looney's wife Isabell Looney her best cloak .
She left all the rest of her shaped cloathes equally betwixt Ellinor
Looney the wife of Thomas Looney and Isabel Looney the wife of William
Looney last she ordained and appointed her husband Henry Looney to be whole
sole executor of all the rest of her goods and effects moveable
and immoveable of any kind whatsoever
She also left six pence a piece to all claimers that would claim any right
to her goods and effects and this she declared to be her last will in
presence of us the subscribing witnesses as witnesses our names this 21st

At a Chapter Court holden at Beemaghey June 12th 1787.  The executrix is
sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payments of
debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will.
