Articles of Agreement made and Concluded by and
Between John Kneale Senior of Aust in the parish of
KK Christ Lezayre and Margaret Kneale alias Garret
his wife touching their worldly Goods as follow ---

And therefore It is hereby mutually Covenanted and
Agreed upon between them the sd. John Kneale Senr. and
Margt. his wife aforesd. that the Survivor or longer 
                shall
Liver of them two^ have hold possess and Enjoy
all the Goods that belong or appertain to them
or which shall or may appertain to them at the
time of the Decease of whom soever of them shall
first die, and the Survivor or longer Liver to be
absolutely invested with the full Right and property
of all the Goods and Effects which he or she may
dispose off as as his or her own discretion, Excepting
fforty shillings which the longer Liver is to leave
to be laid out on Interest for the use of the poor
of the parish, And for the Due observance and ……
of the above Articles of Agreement the sd. John  _
Kneale Senr. and Margt. his wife aforesd. Do Bind
themselves their …… and assigns In Penalty of
Twenty pounds Sterling to be [levied] and paid __
according to Law, as witness their names hereunto

The said John Kneale Senr. Acknowledged 
the before written Articles of agreement to be
his proper and Voluntary act and Deed, and
John Corkill and Dan Cowll made Oath on
the Holy Evangelists that Margt. Kneale alias
Garret duily executed the same in their
presence

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre June 21st . 1787
The Within Articles of Agreement having been 
lawfully proved the same is accepted as & for the
last will & Testament of Margt. Kneale, & John
Kneale the Survivor is sworn … in Court in
form of Law & hath given pledges for the
payment of Debts & Legacies  John Kneale of
Aust & Wm. Garret both of Lezayre
