This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament
of Mary Christian of the parish of KK Andreas who
made & declared this to be her last will on the 4th of Feb:
1788 being of sound mind & memory at the making &
Declaring hereof.
First she committed her soul to God & her body to ~
Christian burial ~
Itm  She left and bequeathed to her son Thos: Christian ~
       Forty pounds & a Feather bed that was under her at
       the declaring hereof with a coverlaid, sheet & blankit
       and a bolster.
Itm  She left to her Daughter Margt's son Charles Joughin
       Thirty shillings when he will go to a Master Trade.
Itm  She left to her Daughter Anne's son Danl Christian ~
       a guinea when he is to go to Master Trade.
Itm  She left & bequeathed to her son Pattrick Christian
       her part of the clock.
Itm  She left & bequeathed to her Daughter Anna Christian
       a cow & also three pounds to her sd Daughter ~~
Itm  She left & settle on her son Pattrick Christian the ~
       Half of Goldsmith Croft after her Death  the same not
       to be sold nor mortgaged, also her part of what was ~
       purchased Ballagaraghan Land & Gilbert's croft to her sd son not to be sold
       nor mortgaged.
Itm. She left to Mary Garret Cathrine's Daughter Three ~
        pounds after her Grand Father's Death.
Itm  She left to Anne Garret Cathrine's Daughter one pound
        which she is to have after - her Grand Father's Death.
Itm  She left to Joney Quirk William Quirk's Daughter
        a peddy coat a shift two caps & two Kishan's of corn
Itm  She left to James Quirk Andrew Quirk's son two Kishans of corn
Itm  She left to her two Daughters Namely Anne & Cathrine
       Christian her apparels or her shaped Clothes equally ~
        between them.
Itm  She left to her daughter Ann Christian's Children Namely
       Robt. Thos: Ann & Jane one yearling
Itm  She left to her maid servant Margt: Christian a striped
       peddy coat of linsewoolsey a new shift and two caps and
       a green peddy coat.
Itm  She left to her Daughter Cathrine Garrett one pound after
       her Grand Father's Death and one sheep & a lamb which
       she is to have for next summer.
       More added by the Testator some days after to this will
       are as follows  Itm  She left to John Garret her son
       in Law one sheep & a lamb.
Itm  She left to her son Pattrick a Feather bed whereon-
        himself lay or which was named upon him.
Itm  She left to her Husband Danl Christian the New blue Cloake
Lastly she Nominated ordained & appointed her loving
       Husband Danl Christian and her son Pattrick
       Christian whole & sole Executrs of all the rest of her
       Goods & Effects moveable and imoveable whatsoever
       & sixpence to any person or persons that would claim
       any right to her goods & two shillings each to the witnesses
       hereof.                        At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre
                                          23d Octr 1788

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre the
17th day of June 1789 ~~
The Execrs are sworn in Court in form of law
and have given pledges for the payment
of Debts and Legacies namely William
Garratt and John Sayle both of the
parish of KK Andreas ~~
                 Probatum est
                     Ev. Christian


Thomas Christian a Legatee in the beforegoing Will
mentioned acknowledged to have received from
Patrick Christian One of the Execrs the Legacy of
forty pounds and the other Articles bequeathed
to him and hereby exonerates acquits and
discharges the said Exec & every other person
of the same  Witness his mark affixed to his
name this 21 Octr 1790 ~
