Memorandum of words spoke by Mr John
Farrant of Castletown on the 4th day of
January 1781 as and for his last
Will and Testament in presence
of us whose names are hereunto
subscribed.
He left unto his father William
Farrant of Castletown all his
concerns of Houses and Gardens in the
said town during his natural life
and after the dicease of the said
William Farrant the same to go and
become the property of his brother
Robt Farrant of Peeltown
As witness our subscriptions

Court holden at Castletown
on the 7th Day of August 1788
Robert Farrant Esquire named in
the foregoing Will is sworn Exr thereof in
Form of Law and hath given pledges for
the payment of the Testator’s debts and
legacies namely Charles Cooper yeoman
and John Crane shop-keeper both of
Castletown
